About this team As part of our People & Culture team, the Health & Wealth Manager is responsible for the establishment, management and administration of our compensation and benefit programs for our growing China business. This role works closely with our global health & wealth team to develop programs that are locally-relevant and aligned with our global philosophy and framework. A day in the life: • Work as the first contact for SSC compensation and benefits day to day management. • Ownership of benefits design, review and management within market (SSC Workplace, ESPP, Mental Health, EAP, Staff Discount, Life-time Discount, etc.) • Ownership of compensation processes and improve practices – AOP, compensation & benefit market surveys, year-end reviews, etc. • Lead assigned ad hoc compensation and benefits projects as and when required • Maintain and update Health & Wealth policies • Partner, coordinate and communicate with third party providers (brokers and vendors) on benefits issues, invoice payments & subsequent payment queries • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service • Support the introduction of new systems by performing testing and audits as required Qualifications: • Minimum of 8 years’ experience working as a Compensation & Benefits expert • Experience working in a consulting firm is strongly preferred • Strong attention to detail • Analytically minded • Able to work independently, manage time and prioritize tasks • Proficient in Microsoft Excel to intermediate level including advanced spreadsheets, pivot tables & vlookups • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Knowledge of Workday preferred Must haves: • Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life. • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results. • Communicates with honesty and kindness, and creates the space for others to do the same. • Leads with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure. • Fosters connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships. • Integrates fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
